Frequently Asked Questions
- Take the measurement of your thigh and calf 6 inches above and below your kneecap using a flexible type tape measure. Use the diameter you measure here to choose your size.
- Find the top crest of the patella. And then draw a line straight across the knee. And you can see that line is a little bit high on the hinges. Bring the brace up just slightly.
- Yes, one of the main purposes of the Donjoy Full Force Knee Brace is to provide additional stability and support for your knee during sports. It is especially suitable for skiing, as well as basketball, football, tennis and various watersports. If youve suffered from an ACL injury and are trying to get back to your favourite sport, this is the suitable brace.
- If your measurements fall under different sizes (for example: Medium for thigh circumference and Large for knee centre), we recommend you choose your size based on your thigh circumference measurement.
- There are two length options available for the Full Force Knee Brace. These options are: Short: Includes a shorter calf area that stops further up your calf. This is ideal for those using their brace with ski boots, skates, or other equipment that requires space on the calf and shin. Standard: Includes a standard calf section that goes further down the calf. This may provide a more secure feel, but both length options will provide the same high level of support.
- The Full Force Knee Brace combines two clinically proven Donjoy technologies in one brilliantly performing brace. Using Four-Points-of-Leverage stabilises the ligament and significantly reduces ACL strain. Donjoy’s FourcePoint hinge dampens knee-joint extension, which increases flexion angles and reduces anterior shear forces on the tibia.
