Suction unit generates suction (aspiration) which allows fluids to be extracted through connecting PVC tubing connected to a collection canister which retains the fluids until they can be properly disposed of.
Dual power suction unit has rechargeable lithium-ion- battery. It delivers -600mmHg vacuum and 30 litre/min flow rate under normal mode and 25 litre/min power-saving mode.
The suction unit features a triple-protection overflow valve, an antibacterial filter, and a fool-proof design that prevents backflow of fluids and the entry of airborne contaminants into the pump.
Suction unit is very easy to transport and convenient for patient. The battery can last for 45-minutes in normal mode and 60 minutes in power saving mode with a strong vacuum of -600mmHg.
Connect the suction catheter to the connecting PVC tubing.
Switch on the unit (ON/OFF switch).
Place your finger on the manual regulator to activate the suction, and begin suctioning the patient using the suction catheter.
The unit is ready to put the suction catheter to the patient.
Disconnect the silicone tubing (20) from both the canister and the device.
Remove the canister from its holder.
After application, switch off the device and remove the AC adaptor from the mains socket.
Do not submerge in water as this will result in damage to the vacuum pump.
Do not use any cleaners or disinfectants that contain ammonia, benzene and/or acetone to clean the unit.
Avoid physical damage.
