For first 2-3 days, it should be worn for 2-4 hours only. Then, increase the wearing time gradually up to 12 to 24 hours.
Wash hands before and after use.
Clean the scar with a mild soap and rinse with warm water; thoroughly dry the scar and surrounding skin.
Remove the gel sheet from the pack, cut the gel sheet to a required size to suit the scar area.
Remove the plastic liner sheet. Then, place the gel sheet, adhesive side to the scar, without stretching; if necessary a light bandage or tape can be used to keep the sheet in place.
Initially for two to three days, use the sheet for 2-4 hours, for next two days use for 4-8 hrs each day. Then increase the wearing time to 12-24 hours.
Clean the sheet with a mild detergent and rinse well and dry with a towel as and when it is required.
Wash the scar and the surrounding skin area with soap, rinse well and dry
Note:
The sheet should be replaced when the thickness of sheet is reduced beyond its usability.
It has to be used for 2-4 months to get a very good result.
Do not use ointments or creams under the gel sheet.
In some cases, skin rash may appear, this may due to either poor hygiene or the product being applied too tightly. If a rash appears or persists please consult your doctor.
Do not use on the skin currently affected by acne.
